For the second straight week, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ actions against a quarterback may have been their doom. This time, DL Cam Heyward’s jawing with Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen seemingly sparked and woke up a sleeping Bills’ offense en route to second half domination and a convincing victory.
Speaking to reporters after a 26-7 win, Allen was largely graceful in response to his in-game interactions with Heyward, but admitted it helped galvanize him.
“Maybe a little bit,” Allen said via news station WGRZ when asked if Heyward’s trash talk fired him up. “I love the competitiveness out of this game.
