Cameron Heyward will forever carry a piece of his father, Craig Heyward, with him wherever he goes. The football field is no different. Having followed him into the NFL, the younger Heyward has always had a shining example to follow. On his Not Just Football podcast, he was asked to recall the best advice his father ever gave him.
“He was just always talking about me playing mean,” Heyward recalled. “I was a gentle giant; I love to have fun, but he always wanted me to play pissed off. And he knew when I played pissed off, I was gonna have a really good day.
