The Pittsburgh Steelers should feel some jubilation after winning three games in a row and putting themselves in a strong position to win the AFC North after a dominant performance against the Detroit Lions in Week 16.
But thanks to an altercation between wide receiver DK Metcalf and a Lions fan inside Ford Field, which resulted in a two-game suspension for Metcalf that was upheld upon appeal, there’s a bit of a gray cloud hanging over the Steelers now late in the season.
Metcalf’s altercation occurred in the second quarter during a break in the action as Steelers cornerback Brandin Echols was down injured.
