Cam Heyward calls out Steelers reporter: ‘You will not slander my name’

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward wants a contract extension, as 2024 will be the final year on his current deal. The three-time All-Pro made it known he wants to play three more seasons in the league. Heyward also noted that he’d like to remain a Steeler, but hinted that he’ll play elsewhere should that be what he needs to do to continue playing.

It was reported that Heyward would be skipping OTAs, to which he himself confirmed on his podcast, Not Just Football. Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Heyward didn’t tell the Steelers he was planning on missing OTAs, to which Heyward took exception on X.
