The Steelers barely entered half time against the Dolphins without a deficit, but they pounded Miami into submission soon after. Even the players on the field felt that, says WR Calvin Austin III, speaking to Gerry Dulac on 102.5 WDVE. The Dolphins are notorious for struggling in cold weather, and they certainly did in Pittsburgh on Monday night. They held their own for a while, but once Pittsburgh pulled away, they saw a different opponent.
“I feel like this was the first game where in the second half we really came out and just really put our foot down”, Austin said of the Steelers pulling away from the Dolphins in the third quarter.
