Calvin Austin Kicking Himself For Not Scoring On Deep-Pass Catch: ‘Got To Work On Getting My Knees Up’

Calvin Austin III joined DK Metcalf in getting in on the Steelers’ vertical passing game—but not quite the way he would have liked. Although they eventually scored a touchdown on the drive, Austin believes he should have taken his deep shot the distance. And days later, he is still kicking himself over it.

“I’ve got to work on getting my knees up”, Austin told Gerry Dulac on Chalk Talk on 102.5 WDVE Tuesday. “Definitely getting in that situation, got to score. But that was a big-time throw”.

The throw in question came from Aaron Rodgers, of course, including 21 air yards.
