Building An All-Time Steelers’ Team, Non-Hall of Famers Edition: Cornerbacks

Historically, much of the attention in Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive lore deals with the front seven, from the likes of the Steel Curtain featuring Mean Joe Greene, LC Greenwood, Jack Lambert, Jack Ham and more, to the names in recent years of Greg Lloyd, Levon Kirkland, Kevin Greene, Casey Hampton, Joey Porter, James Harrison and now T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward.

Seemingly forgotten about — at times – is the strong play the Steelers have had in the secondary throughout their illustrious history. In fact, five of the 29 members of the Steelers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame resided in the defensive secondary during their time in the black and gold.
