Well, the day has come. Mike Tomlin informed the Pittsburgh Steelers Tuesday that he is stepping down after another playoff loss on Monday night. It’s a seminal day for the Steelers’ organization, with Tomlin gone and potentially Aaron Rodgers too. It’s perhaps the biggest since Tomlin took the job nearly 20 years ago. It’s also a sad day for several former Steelers players.
That includes CBS Sports’ Bryant McFadden.
“Man, it’s a sad day for me,” McFadden said Tuesday on CBS Sports HQ. “It’s a sad day because, knowing and seeing what Mike Tomlin meant to the organization, I understand, about the playoff drought.
