Bruce Arians Reveals How Shorthanded Steelers Were On Super Bowl XLII Game-Winning Drive

The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the most accomplished franchises in the NFL. However, it’s been almost 20 years since they last won a Super Bowl. The 2008 season marked their last championship victory. That was one of the best Super Bowls in NFL history, though. It was capped by a great drive from Ben Roethlisberger, who led the Steelers down the field for a game-winning touchdown. However, former Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians revealed how shorthanded the Steelers were on that drive.

“I gotta put it all on Ben,” Arians said Thursday on Up and Adams with Kay Adams.
