The Pittsburgh Steelers had a great top of the draft in 2017, landing a trio of Pro Bowlers in the first three rounds. While their top pick has really separated himself from the rest, the others are coming off a down year marred by injuries. But all three of them are now in the contract discussion period.
Bucky Brooks recently weighed in on the status of T.J. Watt, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and James Conner for the Steelers. Paying Watt is obviously a no-brainer, even if it doesn’t happen until next year. “You have to make sure that he is paid”, he said.
