The Pittsburgh Steelers theoretically went all in ahead of the 2025 season, pushing some chips when it came to adding big names in an effort to try and get over the hump in the playoffs this season.
Though they still maintained plenty of financial flexibility and played the compensatory draft picks game well, setting them up nicely for the 2026 NFL Draft, the Steelers bought in big names like Aaron Rodgers, Jalen Ramsey, Jonnu Smith and DK Metcalf in the offseason to give the core group in the Steel City a shot at winning.
It hasn’t gone according to plan this season as the Steelers sit at 6-6 on the season.
