For the second time this week, another star member of the Pittsburgh Steelers finds himself in the hospital.
According to Steelers Senior Director of Communications Burt Lauten, outside linebacker T.J. Watt was hospitalized Wednesday after experiencing discomfort in his lungs.
Lauten released an official statement Thursday afternoon regarding Watt.
“T.J. Watt is currently in a local hospital for further medical evaluation of his lung after experiencing discomfort at the practice facility Wednesday,” Lauten said in the statement. “He will not be at practice on Thursday, and his status for Monday night’s game is in question. Coach Tomlin will provide more updates at the appropriate time.
