One of my favorite post-NFL draft activities is to finally put names down next to the gray faces of past pick swaps. Teams switching selections on Day 3 isn’t all that interesting, but when it becomes a player swap, sometimes an actual storyline can emerge.
And yes, it’s worth noting that if a team stayed at their original draft slot, they probably wouldn't select the same player that the team they traded the spot to would pick. But the final trade still looks as such.
