For the second straight week, veteran wide receivers Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling played key roles for the Pittsburgh Steelers, this time in a 28-15 win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. And this time, unlike in Week 14, they had some production, too.
Valdes-Scantling hauled in a 19-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers, working himself wide open on a crossing route off play-action. His touchdown catch came on the same day he was signed to the 53-man roster. Though Thielen had just one reception for seven yards, he blocked well in the run game, helping create splash for Pittsburgh.
