Yesterday, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor praised WR Ja’Marr Chase for keeping a level-head during Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Today, Taylor is admitting what can no longer be denied. Chase made a major mistake. Still, Taylor attempted to put the moment in perspective and back his star receiver.
“I’ve always been impressed with how Ja’Marr handled himself because he is in a lot of these situations where he’s got a target as top player,” Taylor told reporters during a Monday press conference. “He gets a lot of respect that way. And so guys try to do a lot of things to get his attention and get him off his game.
