I happened upon an interesting article Wednesday afternoon as I was scrolling on my phone, patiently waiting for a family member to get finished with some early voting. The premise of the article centered on how the new Ben Roethlisberger is different from the old version, and seemed to imply that Roethlisberger somewhere along the way in his recovery from elbow surgery lost his ability to throw the deep ball. The reasoning behind this belief was rather unclear.
Nobody appeared to be suggesting that Ben no longer possessed the elite arm strength that has made him one of the best and most feared deep ball throwers in the league during his tenure.
