The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense has been something of a mixed bag this season. As a result, the tight end room has been a bit sporadic in usage as well. Pat Freiermuth and Jonnu Smith were supposed to lead the room, and they have been focal points of the offense. However, Darnell Washington’s emergence has complicated the allocation of snaps. Now, Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo thinks there might be a disconnect between Arthur Smith and the front office.
“I agree your best players have to play more,” Fittipaldo wrote Tuesday in his chat with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
