There is no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense has been a major liability during the Steelers’ streak of playoff futility. Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin is well aware of that fact. And he doesn’t want a repeat of that on Monday night versus the Houston Texans.
So, what happens if that streak continues and the Steelers potentially lose? That’s the question The Fan Morning Show host Adam Crowley asked beat writer Mark Kaboly on Monday. And Kaboly isn’t sure that the outcome of this game matters a whole lot for Austin’s future.
“He’s in the final year of his deal, so next game they lose, his contract is ended,” Kaboly said.
