Pitt is heading into ACC play without two reserves on defense and two special teams players, as Pat Narduzzi announced during his weekly press conference on Monday that defensive back Rashad Battle and defensive end Nate Temple will miss the remainder of the 2022 season.
Each player was injured during the Sept. 17 game at Western Michigan, and neither played on Saturday against Rhode Island. Neither player's injuries were specified by Narduzzi.
"Speaking of injuries," he said, "I tell you I was going to give you a head's up if somebody's out indefinitely or out for the season.
