An attorney for the Detroit Lions fan involved in Sunday’s altercation with Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf has issued a statement denying reports that the fan used slurs or derogatory language towards Metcalf during yesterday’s incident.
Lawyers from Head Murphy Law in Farmington Hills, Michigan released a statement on behalf of the fan-turned-client, Ryan Kennedy.
“Ryan Kennedy categorically denies using the “N-word,” the “C-word” or any racial, misogynistic, or hate-based slur during the incident that occurred on December 21, 2025 at Ford Field during the Pittsburgh Steelers-Detroit Lions game.
These allegations are completely false.
