Arthur Smith Effect: Steelers TEs Set Mark NFL Hasn’t Seen In Over 50 Years

It’s no secret that Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has an affinity for the tight end position, having come up in the NFL as a tight ends coach, particularly in Tennessee.

So, on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins, it only made sense that Smith’s Steelers offense did something no team has done in at least 50 years with tight ends. That would be two rushing touchdowns by tights ends, making NFL history for the first time in at least 50 years, according to ESPN Insights.

ESPN’s Brooke Pryor tweeted out the note from ESPN Insights.
