The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for their fourth head coach since 1969, and with an aging roster and a question mark at the quarterback position, the idea of a rebuild has been floated ever since the team’s 30-6 Wild Card Round loss to the Houston Texans, and especially after Mike Tomlin stepped down on Tuesday. But in a press conference on Wednesday, team owner Art Rooney II shot down the idea that the team would rebuild and said he wants to compete every year.
“I’m not sure why you waste a year of your life not trying to contend.
