Andrus Peat Ready For ‘Whatever The Team Needs’ If Called To Start For Broderick Jones

The Steelers know Broderick Jones won’t play on Sunday. But they also won’t say whether Calvin Anderson or Andrus Peat will replace him. Although Anderson has served as the swing tackle all season, Peat is far more experienced. The latter was an in-season addition, and they have used him at guard, but he has ample playing time outside.

“Whatever the team needs to win, I’m happy to do it”, Peat said about the possibility of starting, via Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The reality is, whether he starts or not, they need him taking reps at the tackle position.
