The Pittsburgh Steelers came into the 2025 season wanting to be able to run the football consistently. They haven’t always been able to do that, but in recent weeks the Steelers are starting to perform much better in the run game.
Some of that is due to the addition of the jumbo package to their plan of attack, leaning on extra offensive lineman Spencer Anderson alongside tight end Darnell Washington to add serious beef at the point of attack, helping spring Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell for big runs.
Now, they have a chance to really lean heavily on the run game Sunday in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
