Things were much better for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ passing attack in their win over the Baltimore Ravens last week. However, it’s been a slog for most of the season, with a serious lack of downfield passing hurting the Steelers’ offense over the prior month. Despite the win last week, Nate Tice still isn’t seeing enough explosiveness from the unit.
“They had a play where it was Adam Thielen, Ben Skowronek, a jumbo offensive lineman, and then Jonnu Smith as well. So they have two block-first receivers, Darnell Washington, who’s essentially another offensive lineman,” Tice said Thursday on the Football 301 podcast.
