If the NFL season ended today, the Pittsburgh Steelers would win the AFC North and make the playoffs as the No. 4 seed in the AFC and host a playoff game. However, that doesn’t guarantee them an easy matchup. They would play the Buffalo Bills, who are currently the No. 5 seed. The Bills have been one of the AFC’s best teams for the past few years, and that’s no different this season. Analyst Benjamin Solak believes that the Steelers’ offense could present a challenge to the Bills’ defense, though.
“I would say that, of the teams you expect to be in the AFC playoff picture, the Steelers are just gonna put Spencer Anderson, Darnell Washington, and Pat Freiermuth on the field,” Solak said recently on Mina Kimes’ podcast.
