Growing up the son of Joey Porter Sr. and understanding just how violent and heated the rivalry has always been between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, current Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. had a leg up when it came to his indoctrination into the rivalry as a player.
That’s helped him make some big-time plays late in games in the rivalry during his time in the NFL, too.
That continued Sunday in the Week 14 matchup against the Ravens on the road at M&T Bank Stadium. Porter was the one who knocked the ball out of tight end Isaiah Likely’s hands before his third step in the end zone, leading to a controversial (but right) call, changing a touchdown to an incompletion.
