One reason for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive collapse might be the unit trying to reinvent the wheel midseason. With a group that looked lost and a shell of itself, a top unit the first half of the season, linebacker Patrick Queen expects to avoid the pitfalls that ruined the group a year ago.
“The whole detail of the defense is so much better than it was last year from top to bottom,” Queen told Nightcap’s Chad Johnson and Shannon Sharpe in a Monday night interview. “And I think that’s the biggest thing is, like I said, we was trying to reinvent stuff going into few games at the end of the season last year.
