Veteran WR Adam Thielen, who was just claimed from the Minnesota Vikings’ waivers earlier in the week, is active against the Baltimore Ravens today. Along with the practice squad elevation of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, the Pittsburgh Steelers opted to shake up their WR room after weeks of being stuck in neutral on offense.
This came at the expense of second-year, third-round WR Roman Wilson, who is inactive for today’s game.
In his 13th season, Thielen wanted a chance to finish up his career on the field, rather than on the Vikings’ bench. He is getting that opportunity right away in Pittsburgh.
