Aaron Rodgers has spent two decades in the NFL, and he’s been on playoff-caliber teams for a significant portion of that time. He won a Super Bowl, beating (coincidentally) the Steelers back in the 2010-11 season. But despite all his success in Green Bay, his teams consistently fell just short in the playoffs.
Now, Rodgers has a great chance to enter the playoffs in the AFC for the first time. But at 9-6, the Steelers have one of the lowest records in the entire NFL playoff field. So it’s not surprising that they aren’t seen as a team likely to go on a run.
