Aaron Rodgers is no longer the oldest player in the NFL. And he’s proud of it. A 42-year-old Rodgers can thank a 44-year-old Philip Rivers for unretiring to sign with the Indianapolis Colts five years after his last snap. Speaking to reporters Thursday, Rodgers gave Rivers his props.
“I’m not the oldest guy in the league. Love that,” Rodgers told reporters via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. “It’s pretty incredible, though. He’s been out four full seasons plus part of this season…big credit to Phil. I’ve been a fan of his forever. I’ve known him a little bit over the years.
