The Pittsburgh Steelers have never made massive swings at the trade deadline, and they stayed true to that Tuesday. The deadline passed without the Steelers making any big trades, although they did add Kyle Dugger and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the days leading up to the official deadline. However, Yahoo Sports’ Jori Epstein doesn’t think those moves are enough. And with Aaron Rodgers playing so well, she believes the Steelers did him no favors by standing pat Tuesday.
“Rodgers hasn’t been perfect in the Steelers’ 5-3 start, but with the ninth-best passer rating in the league, the cast around him has let him down more often than he’s let them down.
