Turning back the clock Sunday, a spry 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers might feel even younger by the end of the week. Currently the NFL’s oldest quarterback in football, he may cede that ground to Philip Rivers. After losing Daniel Jones to a season-ending Achilles tear, the Indianapolis Colts are bringing in Rivers for a Tuesday workout with the strong possibility of signing him.
Rivers is celebrating his 44th birthday today on Monday.
Sources to me and @RapSheet: The #Colts are planning to bring in QB Philip Rivers for a visit tomorrow after Daniel Jones’ torn Achilles.
