Aaron Rodgers Grateful For Mason Rudolph’s Prep Work, Was ‘Fired Up’ To Watch Him Play

While it’s looking like Aaron Rodgers might start Sunday in Chicago, he very much appreciates what Mason Rudolph brings, on and off the field. With Rodgers battling a wrist injury, Rudolph finished last Sunday’s game, and has taken most of the reps in practice. Even if Rudolph doesn’t get the chance to start, he’ll have a big role along the way, according to Rodgers.

“He’s a great backup. He’s super helpful during the week. He’s a professional, he’s ready to play. He’s a gamer”, Rodgers said of Rudolph, via the Steelers’ website. This is their first year working together, but it strikes a similar note to Rudolph’s past teammates.
