The Pittsburgh Steelers signed QB Aaron Rodgers this offseason to do one thing: Make the Steelers a threat in the playoffs. That’s been the biggest blemish on head coach Mike Tomlin’s resume. The Steelers haven’t won a playoff game since 2016. Regardless of how well the Steelers play in the regular season, they just can’t win a playoff game.
That fact turned the Steelers into a perennial joke in the minds of fans and even some media. So, the Steelers thought bringing in a four-time MVP in Aaron Rodgers would fix that. But earlier in the season, Rodgers couldn’t paper over the other issues on the team.
