Aaron Rodgers certainly didn’t play his best game against the Browns last week, but is he to blame for the Steelers’ loss most of all? Former OL Trai Essex thinks so. While he doesn’t put the blame squarely on his shoulders, he certainly points the finger at him.
Essex had a series of complaints on 93.7 The Fan about how the Steelers handled the game plan against the Browns. He cited the lack of support for the run game, for example, as one key shortcoming. But he also blamed Rodgers in particular for his decision-making throughout the game, including the plays he checked into or didn’t check out of.
