Aaron Rodgers Among Four Steelers Who Won’t Play In Preseason Finale

They haven’t played any snaps so far this preseason for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and that trend will continue Thursday night in the preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers for Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf, T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced that those four players, specifically, won’t play at all Thursday. However, the other names like Jalen Ramsey, Darius Slay, DeShon Elliott and others that sat out the first two preseason games are “under consideration” to play inside Bank of American Stadium.

“As far as playing time Thursday night, there’s four guys I’m considering not playing.
