In a draft that looks starved for quarterback prospects, Ole Miss’ Trinidad Chambliss may be just what NFL teams were looking for. Though caution has to be offered for single-game bowl performances, Chambliss lit up a national stage – and the Georgia Bulldogs’ defense – Thursday night. And it might mean a new quarterback option for the Pittsburgh Steelers to consider come April’s draft.
In a come from behind 39-34 victory, Chambliss was electric. He finished the game with 320 passing yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
But the numbers don’t do it justice. It’s possible that on the first day of 2026, no one quarterback will have a better game than Chambliss’ outing.
