MOBILE, Alabama — Day 2 is always the longest day for everybody involved as players go through their normal daily schedule with an added media lunch interview session. Once that is out of the way, most players aren’t quite as chatty after practice unless they make a good play they want to talk about.
The format was a bit different this year. In the past, there were two sessions with each team spending about 45 minutes with the media in a big room in a free-for-all format. This year, the players came out in waves. The quarterbacks were first, and then there was seemingly no order to the chaos as some, but not all, players made themselves available.
