The Good

  • Plays with very good pad level and leverage
  • Quickness to shoot gaps when playing in a 1 gap scheme
  • Developing pass rush plan and hasn’t reached potential as a pass rusher
  • Good motor to get after the QB and chase plays all over the field
  • Good mental processing and handles many blocks well versus the run
  • Lateral agility and strength to beat blocks to the outside

The Bad

  • Snap timing is inconsistent meaning he has to play catch up
  • His hands are not consistently active when pass rushing
  • Has a limited pass rush plan at this point
  • Seems content at times to halt his rush and just try to get his hands up
  • His timing to shed blocks is adequate when playing 2 gap

Bio
