The Good

  • Very good athleticism and speed
  • Good quickness and strength rushing the passer
  • Mixes up his pass rush varying his moves
  • Strength and timing to stack and shed blocks
  • Good motor and effort to work through blocks, traffic and chase the ball
  • Big hitter, drives through tackles

The Bad

  • Hands when rushing the passer have marginal effectiveness
  • Burst in initial steps get limited depth
  • Often asked to rush from the outside which didn’t fit his skill set
  • Not a fit for a 1 gap heavy defensive scheme
  • Need to stay square getting turned gets him pushed laterally
  • Balance is a bit shaky being top heavy.
