2020 NFL Draft Player Profiles: Miami (FL) EDGE Trevon Hill

The Good:

  • Has experience dropping into coverage
  • Comfortable rushing from both the left and right side
  • Shows much more polish rushing off the right side
  • Flexible, can bend the edge
  • Very explosive off the line of scrimmage
  • Shows a capable bull rush
  • Arsenal also includes a rip move
  • Crashes quickly from the backside
  • High motor when rushing the quarterback

The Bad:

  • Will need to develop a counter move
  • Will sometimes run himself vertically out of a play
  • Needs to get stronger, likely will need to add weight
  • Lack of strength limits him in run defense
  • Dismissed from Virginia Tech
  • Minor medical history (labrum surgery in 2019)
