#2 Lamical Perine/RB/5’11 218 lbs

The Good:

  • Really progressed as a receiving option in 2019
  • Holds his own in pass protection
  • Tough runner who falls forward
  • Good vision, knows how to set up his blocks accordingly
  • North-South runner, very quick to hit the line of scrimmage
  • Bounces off tackles regularly in the trenches
  • Finishes all his runs
  • Will rack up a ton of yards after contact
  • Does a good job pressing the line of scrimmage

The Bad:

  • Numbers regressed in 2019 but so did his offensive line
  • Lacks speed
  • Lacking elusiveness
  • Not going to be an open field threat
  • Double caught a few footballs that came his way
  • Works best with a full head of steam behind him, not enough burst for draw plays

  • 2019: 132 carries for 676 yards and 6 touchdowns
  • Career: 493 carries for 2485 yards and 22 touchdowns
  • Career high in receptions in 2019 with 40
  • 72 receptions for 674 yards and 8 receiving touchdowns over his collegiate career
  • Has been a significant feature of the Florida offense since his freshman year
  • Related to Redskins’ RB Samaje Perine and Jaguars’ LB Myles Jack
  • Invited to 2020 Senior Bowl which takes place in his hometown
