The Good

  • Speed – 4.51 40 at the Combine
  • Very good athletic ability
  • Reads pulling OL quickly and willing to fill gaps and take on blockers
  • Takes good angles on outside runs
  • Very good Zone awareness, understands route combinations
  • Can cover RB/TE on all levels and some WR ins the short areas
  • Good ball skills able to jump passing lanes

The Bad

  • Mental processing vs the run needs to speed up
  • Tried to duck around too many blockers
  • Doesn’t shed blockers and must improve hand usage when engaging
  • Doesn’t drive through blockers causing him to slip off some bigger ball carriers
  • Needs to breakdown better when coming downhill to engage receivers
  • Used sparingly on blitz so didn’t get to see what he can really do
