Pittsburgh Steelers Rumors: Wide Receiver Burress Enjoys Getting Into Shape

All time wide receiver of the Pittsburgh Steelers Plaxico Burress signed late last season in November due to injuries he suffered from. These injuries stopped him temporarily from getting into the right football shape again and this time around learned some defense.

The Steelers made Burress to sign again for another year deal as he starts his free agency during the last offseason. During an interview with him at the mandatory minicamp made, he told DVE Radio how grateful he is for having the chance to return for yet another season. In fact, he feels more grateful to prepare for the football games of 2013.

Burress emphasized that it all starts with getting right back into shape. He is also doing all he can to have a good grasp of implementing offense by knowing the right signals and calls right at the scrimmage lines. The player said that it might take him about nine to ten weeks before he can finally get back into his ideal football shape.

He intends to spread his knowledge amongst the younger guys of the team like Emmanuel, Antonio and Jerricho. Burress certainly wants to see the younger generation of players to blossom into elite receivers.
