Happy New Year everyone, and welcome to a new decade! The 2010s are now in the rear view mirror. This past decade was one of both great heights and dark lows for the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, this was an improvement over the previous two decades which had been almost solely lows!
With the decade now in the rear view mirror, Pirate fans can start to look back over the decade. In doing so, it leaves a question – what was your favorite moment of the decade for the Pirates?
Since this decade saw the Pirates make the postseason in three consecutive seasons for the first time since the early 1990s, in addition to the first of these three being the team’s first postseason berth and winning season in 20 years, there were plenty of great moments from this decade.
