The Pittsburgh Penguins won't be the only team in the organization taking things outdoors this season.
The AHL on Tuesday announced that the Cleveland Monsters will host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the Cleveland Monsters Outdoor Classic at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, Mar. 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
FirstEnergy Stadium is the home of the Cleveland Browns.
“We are thrilled to bring the spectacle of outdoor hockey to Northeast Ohio with the Cleveland Monsters Outdoor Classic at FirstEnergy Stadium,” said Mike Ostrowski, President of Franchise Properties for Rock Entertainment Group, ownership group of the Monsters.
