Walker has a nightout on the Cards

Neil Walker registered his frustration with home plate umpire Brian O’Nora’s strike zone early in the game, yelling at him from the dugout. Walker’s night at the plate, though, turned out just fine.

Walker had three hits, including a two-run home run, and the Pirates beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-2, at PNC Park Friday night.

Walker singled and scored in the first, singled again in the third and hit his seventh home run of the season in the fourth. Jung Ho Kang and Jordy Mercer also had two hits and each of them drove in a run.
