Steelers acquire Reed, make 24 roster cuts

The Steelers have acquired OLB Malik Reed and a seventh-round pick from the Broncos in exchange for a sixth-round pick, according to multiple reports.

Reed, 26, signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2019, and has had a modestly productive three seasons in Denver. He's started a total of 34 games, racking up 15 sacks and 74 tackles. He's also hit the quarterback 25 times over the past two seasons.

This move gives Pittsburgh some much needed depth behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith at outside linebacker, perhaps the biggest need on the roster.
