Sources: Twins trading Carlos Correa to Astros

Carlos Correa is heading back to the Astros, with the Minnesota Twins continuing their selloff ahead of the MLB trade deadline by sending the veteran shortstop to Houston, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan on Thursday.

The three-time All-Star has a no-trade clause in the six-year, $200 million contract he signed with the Twins in 2023, but waived it to return to Houston, where he played for seven seasons and led to a 2017 World Series crown.
